South Grand has an event for every season. Partake in one of our movies at Ritz Park, or come and enjoy dining on any one of our great patios during the International Dine Around. Browse beautiful hand crafts during Fall Fest. Come and have your photo taken with the Grinch during the holidays. There is an event for every season on South Grand.

Once a month during the summer and early fall, we host free movies. We hope to see you there.

Chalk Walk 2016

11:00 am - 9:00 pm

First ever South Grand Chalk Walk has arrived!

Calling all artists! We want YOU to make sidewalk chalk art. Professionals, amateurs, kids, families or friends, sign up right here right now. Free of charge, all are welcome! Prizes for judged categories and for community favorites.

Join us Saturday, October 15 for a chance for the community to come together to celebrate artistic talent, fresh air and everything that South Grand has to offer. Nearby neighborhoods will host rest stops with local music and refreshments from 11am-5pm for you to enjoy as you explore the area, plus activities for kids and a local beer garden behind Commerce Bank!

Stop by or stay all day as chalk art appears, but be sure to vote for your favorites in both age groups (15&up and 14&under). Artists will be making the magic happen all day, with voting open from 9am-9pm in Ritz Park.

Official judges will cast their ballots at 5pm for Best of Show (adults), Best K-8 Art, Best High School Art and Best Family Art.

Last but not least, if it rains, we’ll try for the next day – October 16!

If you would like contribute in any other way, be it a prize or volunteering or helping us to get the word out, or perform music or other merriment on October 15, please email

Thank you and have a wonderful Holiday Season!

A flavor all it's own

I love being in the city close to the nightlife
of South Grand... and outstanding access
to local parks and the Botanical gardens.
